Seattle CDI - in 2010 June 17 - 25; in 2011 June 16 - 24
Tuition for 10-11:
$1,650.00 for both summers Fees to be paid in installments 1. $1000
deposit with registration 2. $300 at your first session and 3. $350 by
March 1 before your second summer.
NOTE: Assumption of the program is that every one is registering for the
whole program, i.e., both summers.
Deposit
refunds cancellation is within 8 weeks of the event - no refund;
if 10 weeks or more - $200 refund; if 12 weeks or more - $600.
Early Registration:
Register by December 15 and take $350 off your fee (March 1
payment before your second summer would be $0)

Being at
Trinity Church
Meals:
Participants eat all meals in area restaurants, at their own
expense.
Schedule: Beginning on Thursday morning and
ending on the second Friday at 11:00 a.m. Please arrange your travel to allow you to
arrive and leave on time.

| Bob has been an organization
development consultant and trainer since 1970, providing
services to non-profit organizations and small businesses.
He has also served as the vicar of several urban parishes and as
the Congregational Development Officer in the Diocese of
Connecticut. He is a member of the
Order of the
Ascension. Bob is the founder of the Church Development
Institute program and the director of the Seattle CDI. He has conducted CDI's in several dioceses. Bob is also a
trainer with
LTI (Leadership Development Institute)

Michelle Heyne
Michelle serves as part of the training team with
the Diocese of Washington and national CDI’s. She is the chief
compliance officer for a Seattle based company and has extensive
experience with financial management, interpersonal
communications and team dynamics, and developing and
implementing organizational change initiatives. She has
non-profit experience in the areas of team building, strategic
planning, and conflict management. She is a member of Trinity
Parish, Seattle and a Companion of the Order of the Ascension.
Michelle will be with us this summer providing special assistance
in the T-groups and other areas. These two days will be mostly experiential and provide
an opportunity for participants to become more aware of how they
manage the dynamic and to explore ways to expand the range of
behavior available.

Richard Downing
Dickie Downing was a parish priest for
thirty-nine years and believes that the CDI and its insights
along with its methodology can transform the life of
congregations. In particular the disciplines of planning and
reflecting upon out comes, the constant quest for learning and
improvement. Before moving to Wilmington, DE he was the
coordinator of the Washington-CDI.

Scott A. Benhase
Scott Benhase is the bishop elect of Georgia and
former rector of Saint Alban's Church, Washington, D.C. Scott
has served on the staff of the CDI in Southwest Virginia and in
the Diocese of Washington (DC). Scott has lead several
congregations through major transitions. He is a member of the
Order of the Ascension.

Susan Burns
Susan is the rector of The Church of the
Redeemer, Bethesda, Maryland. She has led her
congregation through a period of rebuilding,
revitalization and significant growth. Susan is also on
the training team of the Washington-CDI. Susan has a
background as an attorney in NYC. |

Catherine Tran
Catherine has served as rector of the Church of the
Transfiguration in Evergreen, Colorado for the past 11 years.
During those years, the parish has traveled a challenging
journey of recovery from trauma and was recently included in an
Alban study of parishes in successful recovery. Catherine is
currently in the process of becoming certified as a trainer for
CDI. She has served the Diocese of Colorado on a variety
of commissions and committees and currently oversees the parish
discernment process for holy orders for the Commission on
Ministry. Prior to being ordained, Catherine worked in
corporate management. She is married with two children and
her joyful avocation is piano performance.
