Locations of LTI Programs

Camp McDowell is located in Winston County, sixty miles northwest of Birmingham, Alabama. The camp offers excellent lodging and meeting facilities in the newly constructed Miller Commons. Each lodge has eleven double bedrooms with private baths, a lounge with fireplace and kitchen facilities, and front and back porches. In addition to its summer camping program and adult conference facilities, Camp McDowell has developed a widely acclaimed environmental education program, and has a variety of wonderful hiking trails. Meals are served cafeteria style in Stough Lodge, a short walk from Miller Commons.

Bishop O'Conner Center Overlooking the west side of Madison, the Bishop O'Connor Catholic Pastoral Center is home to most of the agencies of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison. Guest rooms are simple retreat rooms, which contain a full size bed, desk, wardrobe, and private bath. Towels and bed linens are provided. Rooms have privacy locks, which lock, from the inside. Individual room keys are not issued, but each group receives a master key in case of lockout. Guest rooms do not have air conditioning or telephones

Genesis Spiritual Life Center, Westfield, Massachusetts; in the foothills of the Western Massachusetts Berkshire Hills, just 10 miles west of Springfield. Within two hours of most major New England cities, mountains and sea- shores and three hours from New York City. Genesis can be reached by train, bus and plane. Participants from outside the region can fly into the Springfield-Hartford Airport.

Vallombrosa Center Vallombrosa is a retreat and conference center owned and operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of San Francisco. The center in Menlo Park, California, is conveniently located midway between San Francisco and San Jose and is readily accessible both by car and public transportation

The Siena Center is named after St. Catherine of Siena, a 14th-Century Dominican of great religious depth and influence. The center is located on the shore of Lake Michigan, five miles north of downtown Racine. Retreat housing includes 76 private bedrooms with common bath facilities

Transportation from the airports to the centers is best done by car rentals and arranging to share costs with other arriving participants. Updated participant lists are sent out before the event to facilitate arrangements
