Anglo-Catholic Practices During Mass

An 18 page booklet on the practices of the baptized person during the Holy Eucharist. Instructive and reflective.

Includes sections on genuflecting, bowing, sign of the cross, stillness and silence, receiving communion, standing & kneeling. Explores the meaning of actions as well as noting when they may be appropriate.

The Holy Eucharist: With suggestions for the use of the body during the Liturgy

A companion to Anglo-Catholic Practices During Mass. An 13 page booklet with guidance about when in the Liturgy to genuflect, bow, make the sign of the cross, and be still and silence. The text of Rite Two is reproduced and notation is made about when various movements may be appropriate. The tone is permissive rather than imposing - this is what many do, you need to explore and experiment yourself to find practices that strengthen and stretch you.

The Anglo-Catholic Inner City Experience

I draw on my own experience in Philadelphia as well as the parishes in England and New York City.
